The main man resposible for that late night ruckas, returns from his excursion to the United States with a fresh stack of 7's ready to take his place behind the decks once more. Bringing retro hits, singalong anthems and forgotten classics.
Accompanied by none other than the Southwest Selecta who complements the aforementioned cheese by unloading his truck full of bangers once again into Patchwork Studios. Tunes ranging from Drum&Bass, Ghetto Funk, Glitch Hop, House, Electro Swing and Bassline.
Chainska Brassika represents London's iconic underground ska scene, having established themselves as one of the hottest UK acts in the genre. Born and bred in South London, the band has won the World Reggae Champion title, collaborated with the legendary Toots Hibbert, entertained thousands on stadium tours alongside Madness and graced countless festival stages, from Glastonbury to Rototom Sunsplash. The rabble rousers are bringing a weekend of live acts and DJs on the scene to Maker Heights, promising world class ska, reggae, hip hop, dancehall and festival sounds. This collector and selector will be digging deep into his collection to bring you a night of heavy roots music. From dubs to digi, ska to steppers, expect an eclectic set that spans from the early days of Jamaican music to the latest underground digital dubplates, and everything in between.
Mr Sunshine radiates a blend of musical sunbeams. Sharing his debut evening in Garrison of the finest rhythms from his eclectic vinyl collection of Afro, Latin, Tropical and fresh electronic beats, expect an alternative dance experience for young and old souls alike. Hailing from the Rame Peninsula, Mr Sunshine is another talented local selector inspired to the decks by our regular DJ sessions and vinyl nights. Head on up the hill for a tropical treat.
