South West, UK based singer-songwriter Jamie Yost deft ability to craft songs became apparent with the success of his 2018 single “Runaway” with over 300,000 streams online. Raised in Devon, Yost’s music feels older than than his years. Focussing heavily on poetic lyricism, his Folk roots and interwoven Alt-Pop melodies you can hear moments of Bon Iver and Ben Howard to The War on Drugs and The 1975.
Yost has caught the eye of prestigious festivals delivering headline performances at Cambridge Folk Festivals ‘The Den’ stage, performing on the emerging Artists ‘The View Stage’ at Boardmasters and supporting the likes of Nathan Ball, Skinny Living and Wildwood Kin. In 2022 Yost teamed up with the illustrious Youtube Channel ‘Mahogany’ to share an exclusive performance of his track ‘Storm’ standing him next to previous powerhouse performers including Billie Eilish & Dermot Kennedy.
